Due to the very specific nature of Pilates’ exercises it is an activity that lends itself perfectly to the one on one coaching.
If you think Pilates is an easy option, you are either using poor technique or you are missing the point totally. Maintaining the optimal alignment of the spine, shoulders and hips whilst passing varying forces through the torso, legs and pelvis is fundamental to a good Pilates movement.
Good posture will become much easier to maintain when these exercises have been practiced on a regular basis, and as these muscles surround your centre of gravity they are instrumental in functional performance and skill.
All powerful motion will travel through these muscles and to remain free of injury they need to be strong and have good endurance.
